AI Construction Plan Analyzer
Upload your plans. Get preliminary quantities. Reviewed by people.
Our analyzer reads your drawings and documents to identify areas, surfaces and materials, and prepares a preliminary takeoff for our team to review before we quote.
AI results are preliminary estimates. Every measurement shows how it was obtained and how confident it is, and nothing reaches a quotation until SIC’s team has reviewed it.

02 · Drawing recognition
What the analyzer looks for.
It combines visual recognition, text reading and dimension interpretation, and reads tables, legends, symbols and schedules when they are present.
- Dimensions and scales
- Areas and layout
- Rooms, bathrooms and kitchens
- Corridors, terraces and exterior areas
- Floor and wall surfaces
- Cladding areas
- Material locations
- Specifications and references
03 · Quantity takeoff
Preliminary quantities by area and material.
The analyzer calculates square meters, linear meters, units and pieces, and applies a waste allowance by category before rounding to boxes or slabs.
Project: Luxury residential villas
Example| Area | Estimated quantity | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Living room flooring | 85 | m² |
| Kitchen flooring | 32 | m² |
| Bedroom flooring | 120 | m² |
| Bathroom flooring | 45 | m² |
| Bathroom wall cladding | 160 | m² |
| Exterior flooring | 95 | m² |
| Kitchen countertops | 18 | m² |
04 · Measurement validation
Estimates are never presented as final measurements.
Each figure records its method and a confidence level, and the detected area is highlighted on the drawing so you can see where it came from.
High
Read directly from an area table, a schedule or a written dimension.
Medium
Calculated from legible dimensions, or a scaled measurement that agrees with the written values.
Low
Estimated from the graphic scale without a reliable reference. Requires confirmation before it can be quoted.
Checks on every drawing set
- Identifies the drawing scale
- Compares written dimensions with graphic measurements and flags differences
- Compares the sum of room areas with any total stated on the plan
- Lists missing documents, such as a plan without a finishing schedule
- Flags areas that need review and allows manual corrections
05 · Material recognition
Materials identified — and suggestions, clearly marked.
The analyzer reads the materials indicated in plans, legends and schedules. Where none is specified, it identifies the application and suggests compatible products from our catalog. Suggestions are never presented as the architect’s specification.
| Location | Material identified | Specification |
|---|---|---|
| Living room | Porcelain tile | 120 × 120 cm |
| Bathrooms | Porcelain tile | 60 × 120 cm |
| Kitchen | Quartz countertop | As per design |
| Main bathroom | Natural marble | As per reference |
| Exterior | Outdoor porcelain | Slip-resistant |
06 · Takeoff report
A structured report, ready for quotation.
After review, the takeoff report can be exported to Excel and PDF. It includes:
- Project name
- Drawing reference
- Area identification
- Material category
- Product specification
- Estimated quantity
- Unit of measurement
- Waste allowance
- Total estimated quantity
- Measurement confidence
- Source drawing reference
Human review
Our team has the final word.
SIC’s team reviews, corrects and approves every takeoff before it becomes a BOQ or a quotation. Reading tables, schedules and written dimensions is reliable; measuring from the graphic scale of a scanned drawing is approximate. That is why we show the method and confidence of every figure instead of presenting it as definitive.
- Low-confidence quantities are never quoted without manual approval
- You are asked to confirm when scale or dimensions are insufficient
- Final quotations always require human approval
